Managing data, on a FTP server, is not as comfortable as we would like. Basic functions and the ability to drag and drop files are missing. Specialized applications can make it easier to manage one or more FTP servers, but not in a familiar fashion. With NetDrive, you can organize any data, on your FTP or WebDav servers, while using a standard explorer window. Once you connect the application to a server, working on a remote server will feel like working on your local hard drive.

NetDrive can be installed, on a Windows powered computer, in just a few seconds. It is available for home and commercial use. If you want to use it for commercial purposes, you will have to buy a license. The system requirements are not high, but you will need at least 1 or 2 GB for caching files.

Besides managing your data, you can also organize the servers themselves. The application lets you create folders and sub-folders in a tree structure, located on the larger area of the interface. Servers are added in a similar fashion, but you must configure them as well. You just need to select a server and specify its name, URL or IP address, the server type (FTP or WebDav), a drive letter and your login credentials. Alternatively, you may click an option to connect to a server anonymously.

When you connect to a server, the software will create a virtual partition, which contains all data from your server. The software lets you stay connected to multiple servers at the same time. You will be able to click and drag files, run them, access their properties, create shortcuts and more. Any action, which you can execute in Windows Explorer, can be executed on a server as well. It is also possible to copy files, to or from the servers, just by dragging and dropping them, from one location to another.

You can set the application to connect to certain servers automatically, when you launch it or when the operating system starts. Other options allow you to use proxies, enable SSLs, save logs to a specific file, export or import a servers list and more. NetDrive does not include too many options, which makes very easy to use.

Pros

You can use your FTP or WebDav servers as virtual drives, on your computer. The software lets you organize your servers in a simple and comfortable fashion. Adding and configuring a server does not take too much time and you may connect with a single click.

Cons

The application is available only in English and Korean. While using NetDrive, managing data on your FTP or WebDav servers will feel just like working on your local partitions. Thanks to its simplicity, you can organize your servers, without any effort.
